Much better for the digestion.

Reallocating efforts and supporting projects that target long-term sustainability, human creative development, and a balanced lifestyle in harmony with both human needs and the environment is a goal you understand well. Sadly a commitment to overwhelming boots on the ground and the cultivation of fear needed to support that tyrannical position is at odds with any real progress to long-term sustainability. Last man standing is not the way to go.

The rule of a heavy hand will not inspire new thinking and while power can and will make tough choices they cannot not be the right ones. Power in a monopoly does not well consider the short term and ignores long term considerations altogether. Open, multilateral and democratic governance, carried out with transparency is the only kind of governance compatible with sustainability. Only this kind of government is capable of making the hard choices that are in the best interest of all.

All dogs must eat. It really shouldn't be so hard to figure out.

I loved your commentary.k-doghttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11788296863763985663noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1575603731696062553.post-36768762703224011632013-09-25T21:33:14.605-05:002013-09-25T21:33:14.605-05:00Good commentary, but I'm feeling a big disconn...Good commentary, but I'm feeling a big disconnect from the rest of the world.
