The web streaming is over now. We have purchased the series in DVD to show here in the community auditorium. I believe it was more a matter of incompetent marketing than malfeasance. Pity, because it was a great series.Albert Bateshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17627996921976501534noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1575603731696062553.post-86189354508924509952017-09-17T16:19:54.207-05:002017-09-17T16:19:54.207-05:00Watched the first epidode of the GMO doc. Sogned up for the rest on their webpage but just got an email saying they will get in touch with news, the page said I would get access to the full series by signing up but no. Do you know when and how the rest will be shown? Just the format of their page makes me feel they are insincere somehow but Im really interested in the content and I know Geoff Lawton had a simillar sleezy page without any bad intent.Jksmshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08484285157638330971noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1575603731696062553.post-23175096615249077792017-09-17T14:26:06.493-05:002017-09-17T14:26:06.493-05:00Jon, I was wrong about hydrazine in jet fuel. Hydr...Jon, I was wrong about hydrazine in jet fuel. Hydrazine use is only in military aircraft and rockets. In the F-16 it is related to aircraft stability. Without power to the computers, the F-16's preferred flight attitude is flying tail first. The basic aircraft design is aerodynamically unstable, intentionally, to improve maneuverability. The flight control computers maintain stability. If electrical power goes down, the plane goes into reverse and the pilot ejects. To prevent such unfortunate circumstances, hydrazine fuel is burned to bring the APU on-line at full power 0.25 seconds after power failure.

Ian, putting sources on images is not usually worth the effort. Since I post across several platforms, and they are inconsistent in captioning capabilities, it can be a real hassle. You can google the images and in most cases find their source. Some of the time images are original to me. If possible when I use a chart I will include a source on the image itself. I will try harder. Thanks.

Most of my source on the glyphosate part is from my own notes while watching the documentary I cited. You can also google the scientists I name and download their papers and presentations. I seldom draw from a single source.

"Blog" is short for "web-log," the trail of breadcrumbs through the maze that was followed by a previous user. The format is a bit different than a book or science paper. I don't always keep as good track of my browser trail as I should. For me that is not really the point.

Albert Bateshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17627996921976501534noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1575603731696062553.post-56471486157900758332017-09-17T14:22:03.472-05:002017-09-17T14:22:03.472-05:00Albert, you've caused me alarm a couple times ...Albert, you've caused me alarm a couple times reading your blog. It is not usable, in any form that I'm aware of, as a jet fuel of any kind. Its precursor, hydrazine, has been used either by itself or mixed with water and alcohol, as a rocket fuel. It's also a precursor for one of the main components of automotive air bag gas generators. Jet fuel is pretty much like a slightly heavier version of kerosene (all hydrocarbons) with small amounts of fuel additives. Hydrazine is composed of hydrogen and nitrogen. I wouldn't go anywhere near a plane fueled with hydrazine.

Stick to what you know, or at least check to find out if your assumptions are correct before publishing them.Jon Wesenberghttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15853030986817909622noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1575603731696062553.post-68678071938137185532017-09-17T09:16:51.357-05:002017-09-17T09:16:51.357-05:00I don't think it will go viral, but then, most...I don't think it will go viral, but then, most people are more into 'don't worry, be happy' youtube puppies etc. I really wish you could figure out how to put references on your graphics which never show title or attribution. Often they are intriguing, like in this case on glyphosate, but there is no way to go follow up and read the source docs.
EMR smog pollution is insidious; will it get us first or the NTHE from abrupt climate change?Ian Grahamhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02975374352244687491noreply@blogger.com
